The Club Scene at UNT

Despite trying to avoid it for so long, finals are here in full force.  Finals week is an important time for students and the best thing to do for a good grade is study.  To aid in the studying most students will go clubbing during this time.  Currently there are two hot clubs in Denton during finals week.  Almost every student has heard about or has been to at least one of them while attending UNT.

The two hottest clubs during finals week are Club Willis and Club Disco.  Club Willis is four stories tall if you include the basement and has more than enough room to accommodate all of your friends in whatever you’re doing.  The first floor and lower level is open 24 hours a day until December 17 so don’t ever have go home.

Club Disco on the other hand is a small nice place to go to if you’re looking to enjoy a nice and quiet scene.  Club Disco is slowly gaining popularity with the UNT student body but still remains less popular than Club Willis due the driving distance.  A friend and I once went to Club Disco during finals week.  It was nice quiet place and we had a good time hanging out with each other.  One positive about Club Disco that cannot be found at Club Willis is the pool table inside.  It’s a nice game to play if you’re looking to impress your friends with your skills on the pool table.  Club disco stays open 24/7 however some of the rooms close at around 10pm.

By the way, the two hottest clubs I am referring to are UNT's Willis Library or "Club Willis", and Discovery Park or "Club Disco".  These are the nicknames given to both due to the large number of students that are going to be there to study for finals.  I admit college students sometimes do not make the best decisions, but everyone knows you never go partying during finals week.

Wherever you go enjoy yourself because after this week both Club Willis and Club Disco will become like ghost towns since everyone will be going home at the end of the semester.

Good luck with finals!
